POOL RULES and REGULATIONS

This summer we will be continuing the gate key/ID card system. An ID card will be required to gain access to the pool. We will not be able to issue an ID card with out an updated 2011 Pool Authorization Form. A Delegation of Use authorization form will be required for all tenants before they may complete a 2011 Pool Authorization.

The following rules and regulations are for your benefit and protection, to assure your safety, and to provide safe and sanitary pool and park facilities.

ALL PERSONS USE THE FACILITY AT HIS/HER OWN RISK. The Association, its owners, and its managers will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal property of any kind.

The attendants are in charge of the pool and park operation, and will be responsible for enforcement of the rules and regulations. All persons using the pool or park facilities must obey the rules, regulations and the instructions of the attendants. Any person may be barred from the recreational facilities, at the discretion of the attendant in charge, for violation of the rules and regulations, or for other reasons which, in the attendant's judgment, constitutes a hazard to others.

THE COPPERFIELD PARK IS PRIVATE PROPERTY FOR THE USE OF COPPERFIELD HOME OWNERS(CHOA), THEIR AUTHORIZED TENANTS AND ALLOWED GUESTS. Everyone else is prohibited from using the area, grounds or facilities. Unauthorized use is trespassing and subject to full prosecution allowed by law.

1. NO ONE SHALL USE THE POOL OR PARK UNLESS IT IS OFFICIALLY OPEN. Pool hours and days will be determined from time to time by the CHA Board of Directors, and are subject to change. Pool season is Memorial day weekend through Labor day. The Park is open from 11am until 8pm, everyday, unless noted or closed off.

2. Smoking or chewing of tobacco products in the common areas (pool and park included) are only allowed in designated areas. There will be no smoking or chewing inside the pool fence or outside of the entrance gates. Smokers and Chewers are responsible for the safe disposal of butts, used chew or any other related trash.

3. Pets are not allowed within the pool enclosure. (Pets are also not allowed to defecate in the park or common areas.)

4. Glassware and alcoholic beverages are forbidden anywhere in the pool and park.

5. Only personal audio devices with ear phones will be allowed while you are playing, lounging or sun bathing. ANY OTHER RADIOS OR SOUND SYSTEMS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

6. Admission shall be refused to all persons having any infectious disease, colds, nasal or ear discharges or any communicable disease of any kind.

7. Only home owners who are current in their CHA dues will be allowed to use to pool or park facilities. Attendants cannot take payments. Fees to be paid at above P.O. Box address or contact the Management Company

8. CHA issued ID cards are required for all authorized pool users aged 14 and up. Each home owner or authorized tenant must complete a pool authorization form before using the pool facilities. Pool attendants will assist with ID cards after pool authorization form is completed and verified.

9. Each CHA homeowner shall, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damage done to the pool, park or common area (which includes furniture and/or equipment) by the home owners family or guests.

10. An adult CHA homeowner must sign in all children under 14 years of age. That homeowner must stay and monitor the children while they are within the pool enclosure or park areas.

11. Homeowners, authorized tenants and their dependants aged 18 and older are allowed up to 4 guests per day. A child aged 16 or 17 can sign in to the pool or bring to the park 1 guest per day. A child aged 14 or 15 cannot sign in or bring guests. A limit of 4 guests per address per day will be enforced. Guests MUST be accompanied by the homeowner.

12. If a CHA homeowner/landlord has authorized their rights of pool or park usage on the prescribed notarized form issued by CHA, a renter will be accorded full use of the pool. A CHA homeowner/landlord must authorized his/her renter to bring guests, before guests of a tenant will be allowed. Each CHA homeowner shall, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damage done to the common area (which includes furniture and equipment) by his/her tenants and/or tenants guests.

13. All swimmers must shower before entering the pool, and may shower when leaving. No showers in-between. (Showers are located in the bath house.) No loitering in the bath house.

14. Only proper swimsuit attire is allowed in the pool and park areas. (No cut-offs or street clothes in the pool).

15. The wading pool is limited to children under 4 years old.

16. Children who are not potty-trained will not be allowed in either pool unless they are wearing special swimming diapers such as "Little Swimmers" - DIAPERS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL.

17. No running, pushing, wrestling, ball playing or causing undue disturbance in or about the pool or park. In the pool, no spitting/spouting water, dunking, running, scuffling, or horseplay of any kind. In the park, the equipment is for use by children under the age of 16.

18. No abusive or profane language anywhere at anytime.

19. No harassment of any attendants or any persons at any time.

20. No loitering on the ladders or slides - keep them clear.

21. Pool toys, inner tubes, or inflatable toys will be allowed in the pool at the discretion of the pool attendants. If the pool becomes busy or crowded, use of toys or tubes may be stopped even though allowed earlier. No rafts, ride on toys or loungers are allowed.

22. Pool games are allowed at the discretion of the attendant.

23. Use of skates, skate boards, bicycles and similar devices are prohibited in the pool enclosure, park and all common areas. Bicycles are permitted to be parked in the bicycle parking area provided by the south side of the pool.

24. All injuries must be reported to the attendant or CHOA board immediately.

25. Equipment, furniture, ETC, may not be removed from the pool area.

26. In the event of an emergency (lightning/thunder storm or other), the attendant will clear the pool IMMEDIATELY. Please make sure your children know where you want them to go if the pool closes for the day. Use of the park in any weather is at your own risk. Safety and caution should be exercised at all times.

27. No cameras, cell phone camera, videotaping or image/sound recording is allowed in the pool or park areas. By using the pool and park you are consenting to security camera videotaping for safety and security purposes only.

28. No Loitering in the park or pool area anytime.
